The conference will take place from 8th to 10 October, 2000 at the Kuffner Observatory, Johann Staud-Str. 10, 1160-Vienna, Austria, http://www.kuffner.ac.at


Please register immediately via the form at the bottom of this page. The list of registered participants will be updated once a week. In September 2000 the third circular regarding accomodation, travel information, scientific and social programm will be sent to all registered participants.

Conference Fee

There will be no conference fee for this workshop.


The Proceedings will consist of extended abstracts not exceeding one page of length on a CD-ROM. Detailed information on the submission, form, and content of extended abstracts can be obtained here, please fill in and send to Stefan Haslinger. The deadline for the submission will be July 21st, 2000. The third circular will include a CD-ROM with the extended abstracts.


Hotel accomodation can be organized by the Kuffner Oberservatory with prices from 300-2500 ATS (see registration form below).

Scope of the workshop

The workshop focuses on the exchange of relevant trends and research results as well as the presentation of experiences gained while developing, testing and applying elements in multimedia and computer aided physics teaching and learning. Part of the workshop will also be devoted to the discussion on relevant items and aspects in the above field.
