 Registration

 A registration form is available at this web site. If you intend to participate in the workshop, please, provide us with the information asked for in the form till June 1st, 2005. 

 

 The registration fee of the workshop will be EUR 60,-. It has to be paid in cash when registering at the workshop office desk (wednesday October 5, 2005, hour 10 - 14).

The registration fee covers

  • participation at the workshop
  • folder with information about the workshop, booklet of abstracts, information about Berlin
  • beverages and snacks at the coffee breaks
  • welcome party (wednesday night)
  • workshop dinner (thursday evening)

 

A funding has been organized to offer financial support for collegues from east Europe (East West Fund) and for young scientists (Young Physicists Fund) of EPS for travel and accommodation.
EPS Action Committee on Conferences agreed to grant MPTL 10 by two Young Physicist Fund support (EUR 350.- each). For further details see 2nd circular.

Contributions

 As in the past workshops, there will be just a few invited talks, the main part of the time will be didcated to presentations of the participants. Therefore, you are kindly invited to submit a contribution and therewith enrich the scientific content of the meeting.

 

 There are three possibilities for contributions:
  • oral presentation: about 20 minutes with 10 minutes for discussion
  • interactive poster session: 3 minutes introduction in the plenum, and apart from that, 90 minutes interactive poster presentation - use of own notebooks is prefered (except, some computers can be provided by the local organizer)
  • traditional poster session: 3 minutes introduction in the plenum, 90 minutes presentation - poster boards are provided (size about 84 cm width x 120 cm height)

Please specify in the registration form the type of contribution you prefer. In case that the number of oral presentations exceeds the available time, the organizing committee will have to shift some of them to the (interactive) poster sessions.

 

 It is absolutely necessary that you provide the organizing committee with the following information:
  • title of contribution
  • author(s) and (their) affiliation
  • short abstract (about 100 words or 500 characters)

These data will then be launched on the web site Abstracts of this workshop.

The deadline for submissions of your contribution(s) - together with your registration - is June 1, 2005.

There will be no hard-copy proceedings, but all contributions (recieved until December 31, 2005) will be published in electronic form through the homepage of this workshop (Proceedings). Please pay attention for the layout of your contribution (example .doc .pdf).
